SILVER CREEK SPECIALTY MEATS
Silver Creek Specialty Meats was established in 1989 when Dr. William Kramlich and his wife Dorothy purchased the meat division of R-Line Foods, Inc. a division of JM Smucker Co. located in Ripon, Wisconsin.
Dr. William Kramlich is one of the country’s foremost experts in meat & sausage technology. He is a past director of operations & president of Hillshire Farms of New London.
The family business now located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is managed by sons Bill and Tom and more recently granddaughter Katy who continue the tradition of specializing in producing quality old fashioned products which derive their unique flavor from quality ingredients, special seasoning, recipes, natural smoking processes, and eliminating MSG or other additives.
The company has continued to grow with the purchase of Meyer Sausage Co. of Oshkosh and Leroy Sausage Co. of Leroy, Wisconsin (Jim’s Blue Ribbon sausage). In addition production of products from Fred Busch Corp of Chicago began in 2002 with the purchase and move to the Oshkosh location. Production of Heid’s Meats also began in 2002.
