Oregon Trail Jerky was founded back in 1993. The owner, Kim Hoffman started making and selling jerky out of the back of a 2 door Honda. She drove up and down the Front Range from Cheyenne, WY to Pueblo, CO selling to car dealerships, mechanics, hair salons and auto repair shops. Next, she went to town selling her jerky at Trade shows, expositions, street festivals and State Fairs throughout the country along with Mall Kiosks for the Holiday season. She also worked the Costco Road show for 2 years. Kim has developed her own flavors and has won upwards of 20 Scovie Awards over the past several years for flavor and quality. Kim is dedicated to producing clean and healthier products.

Oregon Trail Jerky is a certified woman-owned (WBENC, WOSB) state-of-the-art company. Our New 24,000 sq ft building is located in Wiggins, CO, just east of Denver. We are the home to 6 different flavors of all beef snack sticks and 18 flavors of jerky. All of our products have/are: No MSG, No added Nitrates or Nitrites, gluten-free, low in sodium, low in sugars. This creates a cleaner “Better For You” product. Since there are no fillers such as; chicken or pork, there is no greasy film left in your mouth or all over your fingers and clothes.
